I called for washing machine repair June 23rd (we have a warranty via Geek Squad). I was referred to a third party. I was emailed on June 27th that I could apply for a laundry reimbursement form. When I emailed and called to clairfy, I was told that Best Buy did not know if the claim would be reimbursed. Upon calling again, I was forwarded to another number and told that the laundry reimbursement claim was discontinued in 2012 - SIX YEARS AGO! I am so disappointed and would like this issue resolved. Is this true and why would you not update your empolyees after 6 years?

To clarify, our Geek Squad Protection (GSP) does not offer reimbursement for any clothing that may become damaged as a result of your washer. While we try to ensure all our associates are well-versed in the full terms and conditions of our GSPs, I apologize for any confusion that may have resulted from the email you received.
