Warranty claim never honored & delayed deliberately

Bought a Samsung Television with Geek squad protection for 3 years
After an year there was an horizontal pink line displayed in the TV
Booked an appointment for service and the service man certified that this can't be fixed and recommended a replacement
I was supposed to get a gift card credited to my profile from Geek Squad, so that I can replace my Television
Geek Squad says they've already credited it, best buy stores say they can't see it
When I call back Geek Squad, no proper response and no confirmation on the credit
This is now prolonging for an year now
I have been circled back and forth between Geek squad and best buy for more than 15 times now without any results for the past 1 year- very smart cheating by not honoring a warranty claim- I shall never recommend or buy anything from best buy anymore
