In 2016 November 26 I bought 50 inch Toshiba TV (50L420U) online at BestBuy.ca. About one month ago from now the constant horizontal line occurred on top side of the panel. I called bestbuy for assistance and they told me the warranty is handled by Toshiba. Then I called Toshiba and they told me they don't provide any warranty for TV in Canada and Bestbuy should do it. Called again BestBuy and tech support asked me to turn it off and then turn it on, no results were reached, as they referred me back to Toshiba. Last Friday called BestBuy again and informed them Toshiba refused to provide any warranty, to which they said that they would send some request to headquaters and I would get the case number on my email. Never recieved any email and so frustrated calling them again. Can anybody explain to me how I can get that TV fixed or replaced. Thanks!

There's nothing more frustrating in my experience as trying to get service for a product that has developed a fault and not getting anywhere toward the needed repairs. I was discouraged to read you've had this occur and I regret any inconvenience to you.
