Toshiba Firetv service still awaited

Bought a Toshiba Firtev and a few months there was a vertical blank band on the screen, TV is still under the 1yr manufacture warranty

Called Toshiba for support and created an incident ({removed per forums guidelines}. Incident number) in early October

Called and followed up and was told the motherboard has to be ordered and that will be installed in a week.

Called back a few times , every time the response is awaiting part it had been shipped!!

More than a month now , and service has not yet been scheduled

Any advise

Did you happen to get a geek squad service plan when you baught the tv? If so they may be able to help.

Otherwise your probably stuck with Toshiba, who like sharpe, no longer makes TV's. They just licence out thier name to some cheap importers. Which is why they take forever to get parts if they can at all.
