There isn’t anything more important to us than the safety of our customer’s private information. We make sure to wipe the hard drive of any computer that’s returned to us before we sell it as open box. As a former Geek Squad Agent, I can assure you that we have a very exhaustive process around this.
If you’re comfortable wiping it before you come in, it certainly wouldn’t hurt, and we won’t mind. If it’s an Apple computer, we do request that you turn off Find My Mac and remove the computer from your iCloud account before coming in.
