I bought a fridge from best buy with an extended geek squad warrenty. It broke and its been over 3 weeks without a fridge, they sent a guy out 4 seperate times and my wife had to take 4 days off of work, and still no working fridge. Im sure I could get someone out to fix it in a day or two to fix it. Beware they will tell you that if they cant fix it after three times you get a new fridge, well im here to tell you that doesnt seem to be an option! I cant get a hold of anyone at best buy that seems to care that a family of five has been without a fridge for over three weeks! I paid a lot for both the fridge and the geeksquad warrenty! I dont think ill ever do that again, and I dont advise that anyone else get it aswell. I just wished someone at best buy cared at all. I guess its time to start shopping at Amazon!

Can you tell me a little bit more about the current status of your repair? Do you have an open work order that we are waiting on parts for? Has the refrigerator been working between the repair appointments, or has it been out of commission this entire time?

The email im sure was generated to prevent them from approving an exchange. I was told that if they had to come out 3 time on the same problem we would recieve and exchange no questions asked. I see now that was just a scheme to sell the extended geek squad warrenty. Im sorry but it this happened to a high level Best Buy executive they would not be waiting 4 week and counting to get thier fridge repaired.
