I made an appointment and dropped my phone off for a battery replacement yesterday 5/9/22. When I returned I was told during the battery replacement the camera cable was broken and had been ordered. I took my phone and was told I would be called when the cable came in. Upon using the phone I found the ear peice speaker did not work. The only way I could hear a phone call was to put it on speaker or via ear buds. I was not informed there was another problem other than the camera cable. While it was great that I was able to get a battery the damage to my phone has made it unusable vs a pefectly funtioning phone with poor battery performance. This morning I've ordered a new phone through my carrier AT&T as that was the best priced option available to me. I paid $53.41 for the battery and service but now I can't even use the phone as an extra camera which I would do when I eventually would have replaced it. I felt comfortable using best buys geek service as an authorized apple service but I'm greatly disapointed in the results having been forced to replace my phone earlier than planned.
