Screen repair gone wrong

I went in yesterday morning to get a screen repair on my iPhone 8. I bought the phone less than a year ago. They ran a diagnostic to make sure the only thing wrong with my phone was the screen, and told me incase something goes wrong we might have to ship your phone out, I said okay but I will only agree to this if I'll have my phone by Saturday because I work from my phone. They reassured me I would have my phone by Saturday morning (tomorrow). They told me to come back in 1 hour and my screen will be repaired. I came back one hour later and they said my "mother board failed" and they have to ship me a new phone. I said okay, as long as I'll have it by Saturday, correct? I was reassured once more I will have it by then. I called today to check on the status and was told I won't be able to have my phone by Monday... So now I have to go 5 days without a phone? Because of your guys' mistakes? I've tried to call management and I can't get an answer, this is ridiculous. I use my phone for transportation and to work, and now I can't do either? If I knew this was going to happen then I would've went to freaking Apple. This is so wrong and unacceptable. My phone worked perfectly fine and you guys even ran diagnostics on it to confirm, why should I have to suffer? I need my phone before Monday and I shouldn't have to cause a commotion to get it.

Welcome to our forums! However, I much prefer when people join our forums for happier reasons. As someone who used to use their phone for work, I totally understand how important it is.

 

Unfortunately, if your replacement/repair device has already been shipped we will not usually have a way to expedite the arrival date. That said, we're glad to take a second look.
