Samsung not being fixed under warranty thru geek squad

Please have someone contact me about my Samsung refrigerator we purchased through you. After multiple technicians coming through Geek Squad warranty, it is not being fixed and is now a piece of junk. You're inept third-party repair people, couldn't figure out what was going wrong with it, so they report to you that everything is fine to cover their butts. Samsung has known issues that are defects and flaws, and they are happening since repairing my ice maker in December, and I'm not happy. I don't enjoy the sound of a Jet Plane type engine Landing in my refrigerator area in my kitchen. Not to mention the unsafe temperatures since having the motherboard replaced. I never know if the things in my refrigerator will be freezing at 28 degrees, or will be in an unsafe temperature at 48°. Depending on the time of the defrost cycle from the new motherboard, we go from freezing to unsafe temperatures. Geek Squad does not seem to care, and I am disappointed that I spent over $6,000 between a refrigerator and a stove from you. Please have somebody contact me because I am sick and tired of staying home 7 times now, including the cancellations waiting for somebody to try to fix something that is clearly not fixable.

Re: Samsung not being fixed under warranty thru geek squad

Welcome to our community, ocarolina12345,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Having a cooling issues with your fridge after a pervious repair certainly isn’t the experience we want for any of our customers. I have a pet medication that needs to stay cool, so I can understand your desire to ensure that the cooling issue is resolved. Though it sounds like things haven’t gone to plan, I am glad that you invested in Geek Squad Protection (GSP) so that we can have options to assist with your fridge.

While not ideal, I can share that if you’re having a cooling issue, you may qualify for a Food Spoilage claim under the terms of your GSP. If there has been a product failure that caused you to lose food, you should be able to access the Food spoilage claim form on our website for completion and submission via email- https://www.bestbuy.com/site/geek-squad-protection/appliance-protection-plans/pcmcat280100050013.c?i.... If you follow that previous link, the form should be on the right side of the screen under the heading “Other helpful links.”

With that being said, I’d love to take a look at your repair order and go over our options. To get started, can you please send me a private message with your full name, email address, and phone number? You can send me a private message by logging into the forum and clicking on the blue button across from my signature on this post.

Re: Samsung not being fixed under warranty thru geek squad

Good luck, we have had the same issues with our SAMSUNG fridge and will never buy another  SAMSUNG product again never mind from Best Buy where we purchased our  along with a 3 year warranty... They BEST BUY Service Repair did not even show up last  Friday to fix our ice make which is a known issue with the SAMSUNG product... You wait for hours sometimes on the phone  to make an appointment  and then nobody shows up on that day so we have wasted over 12 hours of our time between waiting on the phone and wasting our time waiting at our home for nobody to show up or even call us... This company is a disgrase and if they don't get better soon I would not be surprised if they went out of business...
