To Whom it May Concern:
I purchased model #MG14H3020CM Serial number {removed per forum guidelines} in 2014 at your Tallahassee Store. Manufactured in July 2014 made in Malaysia SEMA. Last week I was heating a cup of water when flames shot out of the oven and I ran over and unplugged it. This is clearly a product defect. I spoke with Samsung today, they have no record of such an accident anywhere. Of course, the contact could barely speak English.
This is a dangerous product, as I almost burned my house down. What kind of products are you selling?
I will give you my address, if you need it. It's Christmas, and has come at a terrible time.

Hello, Joanna, and welcome to our online community!
Thank you for posting to our forum about your microwave issue. I can most definitely understand your concerns with this product, as I can imagine this occurrence to be quite alarming. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I'm glad to hear you were not hurt, and you were able to unplug the unit immediately.
Can you please explain if the microwave was acting up before this incident? What material where you heating the water in? Have you been able to work with Samsung further on this issue?

Samsung's response is not even worth mentioning. They asked to repair it. It is a burned carcass and could never be repaired. They have no complaints so far, so we are alone on this one. Joanna {removed per forum guidelines}, WolffPack
