Roku insignia television popping and black screen

I bought a roku insignia television from Best buy in December. My wife and I were watching a movie when a popping sound occurred. The screen went black from left bottom corner to right top corner and a internal crack on the left corner. I called insignia and for two weeks got nothing but a run around. Geek squad came to my house for maybe 5 minutes. Took a picture of the television...sent it to someone and I was then told that I damaged it and there was nothing they can do. This has been an absolutely ridiculous ordeal. I have the receipt and the t.v isn't even a year old. I cannot believe that I am getting blamed for this. Would be different had I not been sitting in the same room when this occurred. Payed 400.00 for something and insignia will not even think of fixing the problem

I’m happy to hear that Geek Squad was able to come out to inspect your TV under your manufacturer’s warranty with Insignia. I understand that you’re not happy with their conclusion. Can you please share more about how it happened? Did you recently move the TV prior to this happening? Is the TV on a stand, or is it wall mounted?
