Return Order # {removed per forum guidelines}

I have had the worst experience this past year.  While it is not all of Best Buy's issue, I just cannot believe what I have gone through.

 

I bought a kitchen appliance package February 2020, delivered in March.  The Whirlpool refrigerator was extremely loud. Under the warranty, Whirlpool sent out service techs on 5 different occasions with nothing left for anyone to do only to be told by Whirlpool, "sorry, some refrigerators are just loud. It is functional. Sorry".   I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  

 

So, I called my local Best Buy store where I purchased and immediately was told to come in to the store and they would get me set up with another one.  I rushed there.

 

At the time, of course, we were in the midst of dealing with covid 19.  The refrigerator originally purchased was not in stock or not in production so they found me a comparable one.  Ordered another refrigerator and was told it'd be delivered in Sept.  It was then cancelled and changed to October.  This happened in October, November, December, January and on two separate occasions in February.  Then found out my original refrigerator was back in stock.

 

It finally made it here this morning.  I was called at 6:10 for a 7:00 arrival time.  They arrived and then left because they didn't have the ice maker. At 8:50, they came back.  They have just left at 10:25.  I am praying that now they are gone, it all works. 

 

This has been the worst experience I could've ever imagined.  Best Buy was the place I went to for many years and I can't say enough how extremely disappointed I am.  This has been a year of so much back and forth and while i realize we are in a pandemic, I still find it all inexcusable.  

 

Praying the new refrigerator is not noisy.

Thank you for posting on our forum, although I hate to hear about the issues you've encountered with your refrigerator. Purchasing new appliances is a big deal, and I know I'd be looking for quick assistance if my refrigerator was extremely noisy. While I'm glad to hear you now finally have your new unit, I'm hoping you're satisfied with how it's running!

 

Are you still experiencing issues with this new refrigerator since its delivery and set up on Saturday? I'd like the chance to provide any assistance I can now, as well as document your experience in our corporate system.
