I purchased a tv tried to get the warranty honored told me l get what tv is worth and have to spend a couple hundred dollars to get the same quality of tv and pay for another 5 year warranty??

The TV you choose is up to you. If you choose one thats costs more then your old tv, you have to paybthe difference. your old warranty is considered used up once you use it to get credit for your old tv. So if you want another warranty you would have to pay for it.
