Hello, I have a problem with my Nintendo switch, the joy cons aren't working properly but I don't have the repair plan. What can I do, can you guys fix them or do I need to buy new ones, can I give you my broken ones for a discount for new ones. Please tell me prices for each deal. Please respond to me in my gmail. Thanks for joining us at the Best Buy Community forums. I love my Switch, so I know how disappointing it must be to have your JoyCons stop working properly.


We here on the social media team are set up to communicate by social media, rather than by email, so I’ll be replying to you here. With a Switch, if you don’t have a Geek Squad Protection plan, we are not able to service the console or its accessories. We do offer a trade-in program, but JoyCons that do not work properly would not qualify to be traded in.


Additionally, it could be an issue with the console itself causing the JoyCons to not work correctly, so just replacing them may not be a solution for you. Instead, what I’d suggest you do is reach out to Nintendo support directly. They can be called at 1-800-255-3700, or through their support site.


I’ve heard great things about Nintendo’s support department, so I’m sure they’ll do their best to help you out. If you have any questions, or if there’s anything else I can help you out with, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope Nintendo can get your Switch back up and running quickly so you can play all the games announced at E3 this week.
