Best Buy Repair Support

I had this same experience at Best Buy in North Town mall. I was trying to get the unresponsive screen changed and it qualified for the free screen replacement because was under 3 years. The North Town geek squad lady said it was covered and seemed very inexperinced. I did consider going directly to the apple store, but Best Buy in North Town had the soonest available date to schedule because of covid. The same thing happened. The lady went to the back and when she came back said that she cant do the repair because the screws were stripped. That phone has never been serviced, except by the Best Buy geek squad. Whats worse is she updated/restored my phone and now I cant use the phone at all. Before it would rotate and I still could use the phone. Apparently she didnt even need to do a update/restore and now my phones stuck in activation mode and cant use the right side of the screen. I went to the Apple Store and the manager refused to touch the phone and wanted to sell me a iphone x for $500. My experience with the Geek Squad at Best Buy is the same. They stripped my screws and now I cant get it serviced and they want to sell me a iphone x for $500.
