I really don’t get,this. Why, if a “social media specialist” is the only Best Buy employee with authority to answer these questions, are you confusing the situation further?

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for reaching out to us. It's always a great idea to protect your valuable purchases with a Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan, especially when it's something you use everyday like a smartphone.
A handful of our stores are Authorized Samsung Repair Centers and can process same-day repairs on a wide array of devices. With that said, any Geek Squad precinct should be able to send your phone off for diagnostics and repairs, though it may not be returned you to the same day. If you haven't already, you are welcome to locate a same-day repair center here, or you can schedule an appointment at your local Best Buy store to speak with a Geek Squad Agent at your earliest convenience.
