Proof of Purchase Apple Product

I got an iPad last month. Now I'm on business trip out of the country and the iPad has some problem.
I brought it to the authorized Apple store and they couldn't fix it. They told me if I can show the reciept/invoice with serial number of the iPad they will replace a new one. However, the receipt from Best Buy is not showing serial number.
I call (oversea) Best Buy hotline but they said they can not give me the receipt with serial number.
It sucks, I'm on business trip amd now I have no device to work.
Please help me out, all I need is a receipt showing serial number.

Thanks for joining us here on the Best Buy Forums. We appreciate you thinking of Best Buy for the iPad purchase, although I’m sorry you are having trouble with it. When an important device that is needed for work isn’t functioning as it should, it’s nice to have the support from the manufacturer. That said, they’d need to verify some information, including the serial number, before they could provide any type of assistance towards a resolution.
