I purchased an Excellent-Certified open box Dell laptop a few days ago and the manufacturer warranty is only for 9 months instead of 12 months. This was never clarified to me when I purchased and I was told my laptop would come with the full manufacturer warranty. The laptop box also has a note saying "Full manufacturer warranty available upon request". When I spoke with some folks in a BestBuy store in Midtown Manhattan store, they said they are not aware of any such thing and did not listen to any of my requests.
Please help me get the full 1-year manufacturer warranty for my laptop.
I still have some days to return this laptop so if I am unable to get the full warranty, I'm afraid I would have to return this laptop.
