On 2/16, I made used the Best Buy chat feature to request clarification about the updates from the "Your Repair Status" page. After being referred to the Geek Squad chat, they referred me to a phone number. After being referred to another department again, I finally reached someone who was able to see the details that I couldn't. That's 3 referrals to answer my questions.
They said they would get a more detailed report on the laptop being repaired sent to my phone in 24-48 hours.
It has been 3 days since. Its also been 16 days since any update on the status of the laptop itself.
