No Show on Service Call

Waited from 8-5 for a scheduled repair and it was a no show and a wasted day. When I called to ask what happened at 5:10pm the person said he'd look into it and kept me on hold for 30 minutes. At that point I hung up. It's 2 hours later and no call back...Now I must wait 49 minutes for a call back. What kind of service is this?
