I'm looking for help from Best Buy as Samsung wont.
I filled a BB complaint on Samsung regarding the ice maker issue with the refriferaror I purchaed from Best Buy on 11/06/19. Samsung states the refrigerator is out of warentee and even though They replaced the ice maker twice while under warentee it is no longer thie responsibity.
The issue with the Ice Make in my Samsung regrigerator is obviously due to a design defect. The Ice Maker failed and was replaced twice by service techs sent to my home by Samsung care during the warrantee period. As I stated before, when the ice maker failed the third time Samsung care refused to send anyone out because the warrantee had expired. As suggested by Samsung Care representative I used my extended warrantee though Best Buy for the third and fourth replacements of the ice maker. Each and every technician that has come to my home to work on this refrigeration has stated that the issue is a design flaw and Samsung refrigerators are notorious for icemaker problems. My Ice Make is again not functioning even though it was just "repaired" on January 7, 2022, by the Best Buy Geek Squad.
Samsung will not refund or replace the refrigerator under lemon law provisions as the third failure was outide the warentee period. Reading my service agreement I found a no lemon provision and I would like to excersize that. I have schedualed another Geek Squad repair for 2/21/22 but do not feel tht I h\shuld have to waist another day of my time waiting for a repair technician when clearly this refrigerator is a lemon.
I would like the refrigerator replaced with something that is not a Samsung or a refund of my pruchase price.

Hello, Gary10173,
Thanks for joining us here at the community forums. Although, I wish it were under better circumstances. Having a refrigerator repaired for the same issue is never a great experience. The No Lemon Benefit on Geek Squad Protection Plans, excludes any repairs done under the manufacturer's warranty, so any repairs in the first year would not have counted towards that. You can find details in the Terms & Conditions.
I'd be happy to review your service orders to see if that's what caused this. Please send me a private message in through the link in my signature. I'll need your name, email address, and phone number to begin researching this.
Thanks,

Hi, Gary,
Thanks for providing your information. I see that you have had 3 repairs done by Geek Squad. If the repairs are all for the same reason usually Geek Squad will replace the item under the No Lemon Policy. You would have to contact the Geek Squad about this issue though. You can reach them at (800) 433-5778.
All the best,
