Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

This is rediculous. My phone is now actually useless. I cannot confidently take it anywhere without it dying in 1 hour because it shuts off anywhere between 60-80% battery level. It has degraded over time to this point.

This is not normal. This is not normal wear and tear. This is now a paper weight. Google store is aware of this and is providing compensation in either full refunds or upgrades to pixels.

Basically best buy has screwed all their loyal customers by not taking responsibility for the broken products they've sold.

Noatter what, if this is not fixed and I do not get compensation for a 700$ phone that has now become worthless in one year, I am NEVER buying from best buy again. Say goodbye to my dollars big box stores, it'll only be straight from the manufacturer from here on out.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

It's not a joke dude, my phone seriously turns off at 95%, and I still have to use it because I can't afford a new one. Also, Huawei does not recognise it's own errors as Google does, they tell you to pay over a $100 for a repair that you don't even know either how long is it going to take, or if they're replacing your phone por a used/refubrished one.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

Hello Mateo-

Thanks for taking the time to register to our Forums and asking about this. I am happy to look in to this for you.

After doing some research, it does not look like Best Buy is supporting this program. This means we are not providing exchanges or refunds for this phone. I was able to find that Google is offering this replacement if you purchased it directly from them. If it was purchased from somewhere else like Best Buy Google is directing customers to the Huawei Support page

If you did not purchase a Geek Squad Protection plan on this phone or it has expired, I would also recommend you contact the manufacturer to see if they are offering any similar support.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, I am happy to assist as much as I can.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

Mateo, it seems like, per above, Best Buy will not be supporting it's customers. I just got off the phone with Google who will not be helping me either, telling me to contact best buy or the manufacturer. If you contact the manufacturer please let me know what they say. I will do that same.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

Hi Ryan! I regret to tell you that I contacted the manufacturer (Huawei) last week via online chat and they're not being responsible for the issue. They only told me that they can fix the phone's battery problem, but since mine is out of warranty, they require over a $100 (I don't remember the exact price). Both Huawei and Best Buy are a shame when talking about customer support. Thank you for your response, regards.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

We have contacted Huawei, they will not do anything. and in cases, people want best buy to talk to google and Huawei to take responsibility for all of the affected phones.

Re: Nexus 6P Replacement with a Google Pixel XL

what are you taking about? the fee they are asking is way more than $100 + Tax since i just asked a few minutes before and they told me that i have to pay $229 + Tax for the service if my phone out of warranty. And i found out so many people got the same issue which means its not physical damage. It's totally the cellphone problem.
