Hi
Yesterday I bought a Dell Inspiron from Best Buy. Today I made countless calls to BB about missing express service tag on the laptop. No one at Best Buy knows what to do. During one call a geek squad person was able to remote access and found many numbers for this laptop. But no express service tag number.
im trying to figure out what to do. Any suggestions? I would like to use dell tech support but cannot w/o the express service tag #. Thanks, Oak

Many OEMs are choosing to be minimalist now to save on printing costs for labels etc. These things are embedded in the BIOS now.
An HP Laptop I recently purchased did not have this information from what I saw on the laptop but they had the serial number displayed in the System command of Windows and also, I noticed my serial number of my new laptop is now part of my Microsoft Account when I look at the active devices I have logged in. So you may want to check on that as well and sign up for a new Microsoft Account to keep track of that info.
