Need refund on unauthorized monthly phone insurance charges


I did not agree to get geek squad insurance for my new phone but I keep getting credit card transaction charges. I called but they refused to refund but they cancelled these charges.I need to get a refund. I have had the phone since September and noticed charges in December...

 

Please advise how I can get these charges reimbursed back to my banking account...

 

Appreciate any help on this matter

While we’re unable to modify or cancel any Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plans through our Support Forums, contacting our Geek Squad at 1-800-433-5778 will be your best choice to explore what options are available to you.

I called them and they were unhelpful and refused to refund all the unauthorized charges. This is an unethical practice.

To enroll in the insurance, there are prompts requiring your agreement, your signature, and you have to insert the card you wish to have charged monthly. These steps are there to ensure you are not accidentally enrolled. Since you were protected for those months, whether by mistake or not, they are not refundable. Were you able to cancel the plan going forward?
