Need "proof of purchase with information on serial number" for iPad purchased.

Need "proof of purchase with information on serial number" for iPad purchased to proceed with warranty claims. Is Best Buy able to furnish this information as soon as possible? The order status and receipt does not have the information required.

Welcome to the forums!

 

I appreciate you taking the time to join us and write us about your iPad purchase. I understand how important having access to your receipts is, especially for warranty purposes. I keep them a few different ways myself, the first thing I do is scan them onto my computer, to ensure I always have a copy. With five sons, I always find myself dealing with warranty issues with one of their electronics.

 

We try and be proactive and save most receipts for our customers, but our systems only hold most of them for 18 months and some up to 24 months. However, after that, they are not accessible. I am happy to see if I can find it for you, in hopes that the serial number is on it. But, first I am going to need some more information from you.

 

First, please send me a private message by using the link in my signature below this post with some order details. Send me your Customer Service PIN or order number, full name, phone number, e-mail address connected to your BestBuy.com account, date it was purchased, and item purchased.

Need details on iPad serial number for warranty claims. Order history does not have the details. Please assist as soon as possible. I have requested before but the query was re-directed with no response up till today.

You can find your iPads serial number in the settings.
