I purchased a new tv from Best Buy in-store and seemed to have misplaced the receipt. This is a problem as it is necessary should I need warranty work done.

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forums! Having been in similar shoes, I know what it's like to misplace a receipt!
With cash purchases, we may have a way to locate that receipt and that is if you're a My Best Buy Member and attached it at the time of purchase. Do you know if you're a member of this program?
