Laptop issues

So I purchased an Envy x360 HP laptop on 8/24/2022. The same day I took it out the box and noticed two dents on it. One under a USB port and one above the HP logo on the front. I didn't really mind cuz I needed it for school right away. Except the USB port with the dent gave me issues. Which I ignored since I do have more ports. But now it's gotten worse where it sometimes doesn't work. AND something called a wifi driver frequently fails to work which puts my laptop through a Safe Mode and Automatic Repair loop. Since the first few loops the laptop has gotten considerably laggy and it's been less than a year.
My question now is: Would this be covered under manufacturers warranty? I have pictures of the dents the day I purchased the laptop. And if so what's the most reasonable thing that can done to fix the problem?

Re: Laptop issues

Hello, anthnysanchz12,

I can understand that having a laptop that had some damage that you didn't originally mind and is now giving a problem can be difficult. I would advise to contact the manufacturer. You can also bring it in to Best Buy, although if you don't have a Geek Squad Protection Plan we would be able to send it out for possible repair and there would be a deposit that may be refundable if the Manufacturer covers the costs. Please be advised that most manufacturers don't cover accidental damage and it would have been best to return for an exchange during the Return and Exchange Promise period. Please Private Message your full name, email and phone number if you would have any further questions or concerns.
