While I appreciate you getting back to me on what happened, I apologize that they misunderstood the note on your repair. What we were trying to communicate was to stop working on the repair to your hinge, as you mentioned those were not parts you approved.
It was not our intention for all repairs to stop, merely that you not be charged or without your laptop longer due to unnecessary repairs. We are truly sorry that note backfired, and caused your laptop to be returned to you in the same condition as before.
Please let us know how you would like to proceed regarding your laptop.
