My mother and I sent our laptops to Geek Squad on the 4th. Hers was an issue with the OS and mine I was asking for thermal paste and an HDMI port replacement. We were given two tracking numbers, but I couldn't figure out which was which. One of them eventually came back but didn't have a clue which was which.
I have previously chated with a support agent but they couldn't provide me with any information. I checked with tracking numbers and package weights to figure out which is which, and that's all I could gain.
Just yesterday Geek Squad sent a rather ominous email saying "as of today, all parts are still on backorder from the manufacture with no ETA," which is rather unhelpful when they don't elaborate what is the manufacturer or laptop in question. Not to mention, I don't know what to expect now since that essentially means my repairs are stunted. What am I to do?

Hello, MaddyTsuki,
Welcome to our forums. We want to thank you for connecting with our team here. Many of us have had to adapt to working remotely, so I definitely understand the importance of having a working laptop whether for work, school or anything else. I would love to see about finding you what information I can regarding your repair. We can typically reach out to the local team for a bit more insight. If you have not found the information you need, please send me a private message including your full name, email, phone number, and service order number. You can find the private message option in blue to the right of my name below.
