In-store repair: UPS says laptop arrived at Best Buy but Best Buy App does not

Hello!  I had my laptop sent out last week for hardware repairs through Best Buy, and was expecting the laptop to get back today.  The Best Buy app says that my laptop is still in transit as of 7:44 pm today, but when looking up the UPS tracking number, it appears that my laptop was delivered to the store at 10 am this morning.

 

Is this normal?  I would expect to be updated about the laptop arriving at maximum a few hours afterward, but it's been a while at this point.

  I understand that not getting your laptop back in timely manner can be frustrating. Did you receive your email stating your laptop ready for pick up? If you are still having issues please feel free to Private message me, blue button, bottom right corner. Provide the following:

 

  • Full name
  • Email 
  • Phone number 
  • Service order number
