I bought at the end of July. a 21.5 all in one HP. I got it at Best Buy. Due to personal reasons, i didn't start using it right away. Today., I am getting ready to work from home. I get NOTHING, no light, no screen, nothing, i used 3 different outlets, the result was the same. So I called BB, well, I am under 90 days from purchase and all the suggest is to have the Geek squad look at it for $150. of course, that is an estimate...I am sorry, for something that has been used MAYBE 60 hrs... This is not acceptable in my book. And I am addressing HPalso because that is not a good backup for your product, and the store is making $$ out of the everyday client. Not they offer a NC check (that i dont care for) for the item and afterwards send an estimate; they want to club you with the "plans the store has". My next thing, if something like a computer is going to be completely nonfunctional under 90 days, i i don't want you to refurbish what i got, expect a new one. The experience has been absolutely insane.

Welcome to the Community Forums! We are happy to have you join us. However, I do wish the circumstances were better. As someone who relies on having a working computer for both personal and work purposes, I understand how having your laptop not power on is not a welcome situation, especially after having it for only a few months. I would be happy to take a closer look at this situation.

I am sorry to hear you had issues. Unfortunately Best Buy's return and exchange policy does not account for customers not using their purchases right away. For many customers the standard return period is 15 days and if you are a Total Tech member you get 60 days to return the product.
Beyond the 60 days if you were indeed Total Tech, you would qualify to use your benefits to see what's wrong with your computer. Here are the details: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/totaltech/best-buy-protection/pcmcat1608643232014.c?id=pcmcat1608643232...
Fees for protection vary based on the cost of your purchase.
If you are not a Total Tech member, then unfortunately you are under the manufacturers limited warranty. That information was included inside your new purchase.
Should the warranty expire, you would have to pay a fee to have it diagnosed and pay for parts for the repair plus labor.
