Holding my laptop hostage?

I sent my laptop for repair 11/23/2020. When I click on the tracking number, it said the package was damaged en route to the repair center on 11/29/2020. I visited the store on 12/29/2020 and was told I will get an update within a week. I still haven't heard anything. When I call, I'm on hold for over 30 minutes without talking to anyone. I've sent messages to multiple chat agents and they all just give me the tracking number that says the package is damaged. Then I get told to go to the store and they will supposedly help me. This is ridiculous. What's the point of paying for the warranty?

Re: Holding my laptop hostage?

Hey, jsophiaprice,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. I am so sorry to hear that your laptop packaging was damaged on the way to our repair center, and that you haven't received a solution for this yet. I can imagine that has been quite the frustrating experience!

We strive for higher service than what it sounds like you've received, and I'd like to take a closer look into this and see what I can do to help. So that I can get started, please send us a private message with your full name, email, phone number, and service order number.

Best,
