It can be disappointing to open a product up and notice that it is not working as you had intended. I apologized that you are not able to get your Hyperdrive to connect to your laptop.
I did receive your private message that includes the purchase date. I noticed that it is still within Best Buy Return and Exchange Promise, so I encourage you to visit your local Best Buy for an immediate resolution. I did confirm that the Fort Lauderdale, FL store currently has the product available for you to get a new one.
