I have bought a Google Chromecast Ultra in Canada's Best Buy #977 (Toronto, ON) to myself and when I got to my home (in Brazil) there was a defect in the update procedure that "bricked" the device.
I contacted Google and their chromecast specialists and done all procedures required to ensure that this is not recoverable by any software or hardware action that I could do myself.
I want to send this defect one and get a new one, so for that I want to use the warranty. I have bought it two days ago, so I think i still have some plenty of time to send to you guys.
Can I know how is the procedure so us can get this done asap?
I have receipt and everything needed to do this... Waiting for a response.

You have the warrenty or you mean you purchased Best Buys extended plan?
In any event Best Buy would most likely not be able to ship to Brazil. You may have to bring it back to Canada for an exchange.
If you only have manufacturers warrenty you may have to go through the manufacturer if you cannot make it into a store.

It sounds like bobberuchi hit the nail on the head with this one. I would recommend reaching out for a replacement through the manufacturer warranty, or getting in contact with Best Buy Canada here to see what options they may have.
