Geobook Warranty Repair Issue

Hello, I purchased 2 Geobook Minecraft edition laptops for my boys for Christmas. One works great out of the box while the other displays a white screen with lines. I contacted Geobook and they told me Best Buy handles the warranty repairs because they are in the UK. 

 

I took it to Bestbuy and they said Geobook won't let them service the laptop for warranty repair. Something is wrong here. I contacted Geobook again and they said again that Bestbuy handles warranty repairs. 

 

I just want the laptop repaired. I don't want a refund because I got this on sale. I'd be happy to exchange it but they are sold out everywhere. So I just want it repaired under the warranty coverage. How do we make that happen? The answer cannot be that it can't be fixed, otherwise y'all have sold a bunch of laptops with no repair options for customers. 

 

How can I get a warranty repair for my brand new Geobook?

Who can help me with my issue? The store is pointing me to GeoBook and Geobook is pointing me back to Bestbuy and BB customer service dept is pointing me to the store. No one is fixing the laptop!

Hello, I have having the same issue. I am still under warranty with GEO. They directed me to Best Buy but Best Buy sent me away. I'm about to file a nice complaint and need to know who to reference it to. Best Buy, GEO or both. Please help.

I happened to me. I purchased that doorbuster, and I have everything saved. It clearly does not say "open box" or "refurbished". Computer was sent out to my parents for them to give me as a gift. Got the gift, but I was very sick with what turned out to be Addison's. I am just now getting put on meds. My computer sat on a shelf until August of 2022, with me wondering why there had been no seal and no styrofoam or many packing materials. It's beautiful, and I was so thankful Geek Squad was going to check the hard drive to see I had not used it. But, low and behold, they would not take it in to look at a repair. They said they never had Geo computers before and would look really dumb for accepting it for repair. They said I should go try You Break/We Fix, but sadly, I could not complete the task in time. Most days I couldn't get out of bed. I tried disputing it through PayPal and was told it would be taken care of, but then PayPal got confused, did not call me for information, and simply sent a message to me on PayPal (for which I did get a notification for). I had told the original person I talked to everything! Little person with disability gets run all over by corporate giants who want nothing more than to steal your every last penny. So sad what is going on here. Did anyone ever get assistance?

Regarding the PayPal message, that should say "did NOT get a notification for". Who checks their PayPal messages with a blood pressure of 85/35? Not too many I would guess.

I am not too keen on posting my personal data on a public forum. I do not see your signature, nor do I see a way to send you a private message. If you can give me an extension, I can call Best Buy's corporate office and reach out to you that way. Otherwise, it looks to me like my only option is to post publicly.

My bad, Ravi! I just figured it out. I have Addison's and a bunch of other stuff, and I need to wait until the brain inflammation is doing better before I start sending data. But, I have a lot of stuff saved.
