GeekSquad Vs Asus Repair, conflicting information and no help.

I bought a new gaming laptop from bestbuy, asus Ggu603h

The GPU is {removed per forum guidelines}, constant video lockups.

I took it into geeksquad IN STORE and they confirmed it to be under manufacturer warranty, and that it needs to be repaired.

They told me I had to go through ASUS, asus tells me I have to go through BestBuy.

Someone fix my laptop, this is ridiculous.

I have tried speaking directly with the geeksquad customer support #, they tell me because I did not purchase the extended protection plan, they will not do anything for me in store and they would charge me for an appointment.

I told them I don't want the geeksquad repair, just the manufacturer warranty since it is a faulty GPU in a brand new laptop, they just shrugged at me and again said to contact ASUS....

The solution is the thing I already did in the very first place???

I might be able to get it shipped to a friend who can then take it into a store, but I have already tried doing your proposed solution myself, and they told me they would not help me.

How exactly is my friend supposed to not encounter the same problem, when he attempts the same solution (at the expense of more time, effort and money.)

I already took time out of my vacation to take the laptop into a bestbuy location, they told me yes it is faulty, it is under manufacture warranty, but they would not handle any manufacture warranty claims. They were very firm about this, like a line in the sand.

So I am supposed just go in there and keep saying "yes huh!" until they agree to do their job?

Now I am out of country, and I have to find someone to argue with your company's staff at my behest?

Please just let me know where I can send my laptop for manufacture warranty covered repairs.

ASUS claims this process is handled through bestbuy for my product (confirmed by serial #)
