Geek squad sucks! Day 41

I dropped my laptop off on July 10th to have just my hinge on the right side fixed. It is now August 20th and it has no updated at all. Still just says device shipped, which it has been delivered since July 13th. All I need is a hinge repair and I thought Best Buy would be a good place to go since I bought the laptop from them and they were verified to fix it. Boy was I wrong. 🙄 will never do this again. Have called both 800 number and local store with absolutely no help and no one knows when I can expect my laptop back.

Hinges come from China, they are laptop model specific.. often times the hinge mount is broken also and they have to replace case parts. shipments from China are taking forever to go thru customs due to covid.
A moderator should reply in a few days and be able to get you an update.
