Geek squad protection plan

m am very disappointed. A couple months ago end of February i bought an insignia 55inch smart tv. At the register the guy selling the tv to me asked if i would like to purchase the geek squad protection plan. I said no at first then he told me it would be in my best interest just in case something happens he said you never know the tv could fall and crack and with this plan at least i would b covered. Basically he sold me there. Well turns out he sold me a big fat lie and im so angry that i was tricked like this now i have to find somewhere else to buy from.

Geek Squad Protection Plans are great for those what if moments! I’m sorry to hear that your local Best Buy may have set the expectation that physical damage would be covered too. I can only imagine how disappointed and mislead you may feel now. I’d be happy to see how we can assist you further.

 

You’re more than welcome to cancel your Geek Squad Protection Plan if your TV is currently physically damaged, and we’d be happy to provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your plan. You can call Geek Squad at (800) 433-5778 to request that. Can you please share which store location you had made your purchase at? I look forward to your reply to learn more about your experience.
