I bought a geeksquad protection plan for my tv a year ago. The cashier at the time said it covers everything. No hidden fees My tv ended up with a crack in it. I talked to live chat specialist and they said it's covered. I specifically asked twice and was told it was covered. I called to set up an appointment and was denied a repair. I took screenshots of what the agent said. I'm stuck an expensive broken tv now with no help.
Not a lie... Protection plans don't cover physical damage (like a cracked screen) on TV's. Which is spelled out both in what you signed to buy the plan, and also the email they send you after you buy it... It covers pretty much everything except physical damage...
