My 85-year-old mother lives alone in another state and is having multiple electronics issues. Her Alexa has quit working (maybe a Wifi issue?) and Siri on her iPhone isn't working any more, and her TV is acting up. In short, all the things that helped her quality of life are now sources of great frustration to her. (She's also virtually blind.)
I called Geek Squad because she's covered under my account. I explained my issue to two or three people before I got some person who was going to put me in touch with someone else, was put on hold for 30 minutes and then the call was dropped. I called back, went through the same drill, got someone who was going to see about scheduling with someone in her hometown, and then I was put on hold for more than an hour, and then the call was dropped AGAIN.
I am questioning why I have a Geek Squad account at all.

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Best Buy Forums! I'm sorry to hear that you had a difficult time getting in touch with someone to schedule an appointment for your mother. A phone, TV and Alexa are all so vital to life and I can imagine the frustration that these all quit on her around the same time. This doesn't sound like the service that we strive for!
