I understand that this maybe a COVID issue as they said repairstake longer now, and I have never waited this long. After wating almost 2 weeks just to get an appointment to drop off my laptop (first flag) I was finally able to on 9/9/21 (thursday). Everything seemed go great at first, It was shipped, received, part was determined to need replacing and the part was in stock. On 9/16/21 it was put in queue to be assgined to an agent. All of this happen in 1 week and I thought for sure I would get it back by the estimated date of 9/27, but no. It is now 10/5/21 a week after the estimated time and still no new update. Since the part needed was in stock I have to assume that isnt the issue, just maybe backed up at the repair center? It has been almost 3 weeks since it was put in the queue and no update, again I understand if this is covid/staffing issue, but is getting some kind of update, even to just saying it is taking longer than expected too much to ask?

As a student, I know that a single day without my computer has a major impact and I can understand wanting to know exactly what's going on with this repair. While we do our best to provide accurate estimates, some repairs may take longer than expected if additional parts are needed to complete this. Have you been able to get an update since making this post? If not, please let me know. I can certainly take a look at this here on my end.
