Geek Squad protection Joke

We purchased a 65 tv a year ago and with in the first year it had issues. We called gs in July. They ordered a motherboard and it took 4 weeks for the part to come in. Instead of the tech taking initiative and ordering another part, I had to beg him to order another one to get our tv fixed!. The very damaged original part showed up at my door the same day the the tech final did 4 weeks later!

Replacement of motherboard made issues worse! I texted the tech as instructed and was ghosted. I called geeks squad and asked for a manager to call 2x that week. Crickets. Nothing. We went in to the store on Sept 1.they said well its over 65 inches you have to call gs again. We did and had to make another appointment for another 2 weeks out. Same tech comes out again checks some things and said he had put in for replacement but was denied. But he will do so again and be back with us in a couple days. Crickets again...I call gs again. No paperwork ever filed. Escalation sent to managers not have call me within 24 hours. STILL No RePONSE!!!!!

My tv turns off by its self. Will be playing and go back to the home page. Thier fix made it worse. And I get not response!

Origii thought I bought it at Costco! Guess what! Within a week they said bring it down to the store and we will swap it out! But they serial number didn't match.. but that's how easy it was. Best buy has been a absolute xcraxy train to work with and not standing behind Thier product, work, tech support or purchased warranty! Highly disappointed.

This isn't the type of Geek Squad experience we want our customers to have, I would also feel very frustrated if I had to wait that long for parts and repairs. Just wanted to follow up, were you contacted at all by an agent regarding this? I did not receive a response but looking at the repair order that was created it sound's like they are looking into getting the TV exchanged.

No. I went to the nampa store on monday morning and tried to talk to the manager, he said there was a part on order from pur conversation in this chat from saturday. I questioned that. He said there was No other details. I asked for the district managers number/email and got a david.brown3@bestbuy.com email i wrote to him letting him know of my disappointment and expiriance. No other commuocation was given u til i received a auto dialer last night telling me i had an appointment scheduled for this morning between 9-12 am today. Luckily i have this morning free to sit and wait but i had not reached out or been told of this appointment or what it was for. I called the gs support like and spoke with juan and i eneded up ending the call with him as i was put on hold for several minutes with dead silence with no answers as to why someone was coming to my home again. I called back and finally got an answer as to why someone was coming out but even that took some doing, and several attempts to get an explanation, it looks as if they are bring out a replacement set?

If indeed they are bringing out a replacement set i am happy about that, however communication in regards to that would have been kind, instead of a phone call saying we will be there tomorrow between 9-12pm. Just expecting to be able to drop everything at a moments notice for a service call is kind of demanding on ones schedule.

And again no communication again appointment i speak with different csr who calls tech who tells her he is NOT coming and is supposed to CALL me with approval number ot exchange the tv. I want somethingnin writing!!! This is beyond frustrating and ridiculous! Does no one at your cpany communicate?!
