Geek Squad is terrible!!!

I was given an 8am - noon window today for Geek Squad to repair my cooktop. I waited and called Geek Squad at 12:40pm when nobody showed or bothered to call to say they were running late. After 45 futile minutes on the phone, “Stephanie” tells me she is unable to reach the “3rd Party” and refused to let me escalate the issue to a manager. She promised I would get a call within an hour and that someone would update me. Of course nobody called me and I ended up calling Geek Squad again at 5pm only to be given a similar runaround and then told she was contacting another department that could try and call the tech. Next thing I know, I am dumped back into the main call-tree and greeted by a call center agent welcoming me to Best Buy and asking how she can help me. Seriously??? What the heck is up with these guys? Zero accountability, no care for customers.

In my experience these Geek Squad imbeciles are actually TRAINED to scam customers!   These employees are very computer illiterate.  They don't know what lLinux based OSs are!  I have caught them in so many lies it makes me sick.  These crooks need to be prosecuted forscamming the elderly, computer naive customers and trusting people.   I have been at best buy many times.  I like to hang around the computer section so i can hear the sales people stammer stupid nonsense because they are completely unqualified to help customers.   Another ripoff is the bait and switch Best buy uses.  They advertise a computer for a certain price, but after i get there they tell me that they only have Optimized computers in stock.  This is a 39.99 service that i don't need or want!   I don't even want Winblows on it, but i am willing to buy one anyway.  What i will never do is pay those crooks for a service i dont need or want!  SCAM ALERT!
