Geek Squad Store Experience

i have not been a customer for a few years due to inconsistent and generally poor customer service. I brought my computer in for a tune up on 6/19 at 10 am and based on recent press I was optomistic service issues were being addressed.

 

Check in went OK although I was surprised you charge for the service in advance. The agent made an appointment for me to pick it up today, 6/22. Upon my arrival I was informed it was still being "worked on". The attitude was complete indifference at best. When pressed the agent only offered to give me the computer as is or I could come back tomorrow.

Neither option reflects good service.

 

You had my contact information so at a minimum you could have notified me of the delay so that I could make alternative plans.

 

Let's hope tomorrow goes better although I am not encouraged. I also hope after all this and the $150 you charged me that the problems with the computer (which I purchased there) have been fixed.

 

This experience was at your Shokopee MN store.

I understand your service may have been expected to be completed June 22, and that you visited the store to pick up your computer, but were caught off guard when it wasn't ready. As it seems you may have visited the store early in the morning, it's possible it was completed on June 22 but simply not quite ready when you originally visited. I apologize for any disappointment that this may have caused, and if you encountered any less than stellar service. 

Were you ultimately able to pick up your device yesterday?
