Geek Squad Service Damaged My Laptop

I took our laptop for a simple RAM upgrade/replacement. When I received it still at the store and was going over things with Geek Squad, I immediately noticed the laptop would not turn on. I had to plug it in figuring it would charge, but I noticed the indicator light did not turn orange to show it was charging. It was white. Normally that means it's charged, but it wasn't, so it meant there was no battery connected...but there was. It behaved as if no battery was installed. This battery is but a couple months old. Even then, the previous battery would take a charge. The Geek Squad rep tried mentioned they don't touch the battery for repairs, but I know from research that all power sources must be removed for RAM replacement,and it's most likely something within was disconnected or cut. I also noticed much more scratches were on the laptop, but it's hard for you to verify with the vague documentation at check in. We were hoping to have use of the laptop for the holidays. Now we don't. I would like management from the San Antonio, TX Ingram location to call me at {removed per forum guidelines} ASAP.
