Hello, I am writing this because I am very unhappy about what geek squad did to my computer. FIrst of all, I sent it in for a potential virus to be removed, the lady said she will call us before deleting any data. I was home all day, and never got a call. When I picked it up, the virus was still on the computer, and all my data, including stuff for my school, important stuff. REALLY IMPORTANT FILES, were all gone, and they downloaded random programs such as Pipeline, eBay, Amazon, and some .zip file. I feel I have lost all trust with these people, they even looked through my Emails and SIGNED OUT OF ALL MY ACCOUNTS. They even deleted stuff like Steam, Chrome, Bitdefender, my VPN, ALL MY GAMES, ALL MY SCHOOL WORK, and even removed Office 365. Not happy at all with the service.

Getting a virus is never fun, but we appreciate you thinking of us to get it taken care of. That said, the experience you described is far from the one we intended when you brought in your computer. We understand how important your files are to you, so it's understandable that you're frustrated that your school and personal files were removed without your consent. I know that would make me upset as well, so I'd be happy to work with your local Geek Squad to see what happened.

I have taken it back and did get all my files back, along with the virus removed . This was not a fun process, but I appriciate the help. If you need, I can respond with this info if it will help. As of now, all my files were recovered, with no long-term damage to them. Only things is a couple of Word Documents removed. Thanks again,
