I'm currently having problems with my laptop and I'm going to be bringing to Geek Squad tomorrow to get it taken care of since I have the protection plan. Due to the nature of my issues, it's likely that the laptop will need to be sent out to be repaired elsewhere. However, my protection plan is set to expire on 2-14. What happens if the plan expires before they are able to fix the damage?
Thank you

Good morning, thage808,
Welcome to our forums, and thank you for posting your question! Our Geek Squad Protection plan (GSP) is a great way to make sure your tech is protected beyond what is typically covered by your manufacturer’s warranty, so I’m glad you decided to purchase one for your laptop!
To answer your question, as long as you bring your device in for service before your GSP expires, and the issues you’ve been having are covered by your GSP, you should still be able to receive service on your laptop, even if the plan expires in our possession.
If you haven’t done so yet, I strongly recommend bringing in your device for service with our Geek Squad, and you can schedule an appointment online here, or by phone at 1-800-433*-5778. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding your GSP, you’ll find the full terms here.
I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Regards,
