Hi everyone, my Surface Pro recently had a ton of problems, dropped it off with GS today. I have GSP, the agent mentioned I will be able to choose either a replacement of the same product or in store credit. A couple questions come from this that I didn't think about until driving home:
If I choose in store credit, I assume I will get the price I paid for the surface and sales tax, but I won't get reimbursed what I paid for the protection (~$180). Is this correct?
Why would I choose a replacement model when I could use store credit to buy it and have money left over, as it is now an outdated model and cheaper than when I bought it in the first place? Sorry for the bad formatting, mobile user here. TIA
