I have an appliance I bought back on 9/7/2017 with 5 year GSP. On my Best Buy account it states “Parts and Labor Valid through August 31, 2022” then below that it states “Specified Part Coverage potentially available through* August 31, 2027” Geek Squad came to my house and deemed the ice maker as broken and wants to charge for the part and a service fee around 250$ total. How is this not covered? I understand I purchased a 5 year GSP but why is it still showing as active? Terms and conditions aren’t very helpful for this specific kind of coverage from what I read. It is showing under my geek squad protection plans online this item has active coverage but what does it really cover?
