Hello.

We have an insignia side by side model number NS-RSS26SS0 and are getting the error code EP. It started with some beeping and when I went to the fridge I saw EP but the beeping stopped when I pressed a button. It seems like it might be an issue with the ice maker as it has a clicking noise when the ice was trying to be made. I removed some ice and some frozen chunks and that sound seems to have stopped but the error code remains. I checked the manual and I am not seeing an EP error code. Can you let me know what this error code could be and how to fix the problem?

Based on what you’ve described, it is quite possible this may be related to the ice maker. When referencing the manual, I also did not see that particular error code listed. Kylie my refrigerator recently displayed the same code, were you able to figure it out? Perhaps you can give me some insight if so

It ended up being the ice maker. It is a code saying the ice maker isn’t aligned properly. Unfortunately for us ours would have needed to be completely replaced so our landlords got us a countertop ice maker instead. Hope this helps!
